It's the most wonderful time of year (for parents!), SCHOOL'S BACK OPEN. Seriously though here a few tips to keep all the kiddos (and yourself) safe out there:

Safe driving during the back-to-school season requires extra alertness for children, buses, and crowded morning traffic.

  • Stop for buses: Always stop completely when a school bus shows flashing red lights and extends its stop sign.

  • Slow down: Obey lower speed limits in active school zones and watch for crossing guards.

Being a lifelong resident of Kanawha County and a 31 year plus State Farm agent has given me unique abilities to serve the residents of my area.
